Job Description
We are looking for a passionate and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Engineer with a strong drive to learn to join our mission. If you are driven by creativity, enjoy tackling challenges head-on, and thrive in a fast-paced environment, you will fit right in at Storyous. This role requires you to advocate for our customers by working closely with the Product and Development team to deliver the highest quality solutions.
Your key responsibilities:
- Quality assurance check (manual testing) of Android apps and web administration
- Build and maintain test automation.
- Creation and update of test scenarios
- Creation and update of technical documentation
- Investigations and bug management.
- Implementing best practices in Quality Assurance
- Working closely with developers during full cycle of SW development.
- Identification of edge cases in user scenarios
- Stress testing of application
- Suggesting improvements in design phase to improve customer experience
Qualifications
The successful candidate will be customer-centric in their mindset, extremely detail orientated and comfortable working in a dynamic and fast-paced organisation. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in QA with a proven record of high-quality delivery.
Experience and abilities we are specifically looking for include:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or tech-related field
- 1+ years of experience in Quality Assurance
- Familiar with Agile methodologies and working closely with engineering teams.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to use data to generate business and customer test scenarios and edge cases.
- High attention to detail and proven ability to manage competing priorities simultaneously.
- Successful track record of delivering high quality products.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills. Able to work across Development/Product and CR with clear data and documentation
