We are looking for a motivated Junior QA Tester to join our team of IT professionals on behalf of one of our major clients in the IT sector, located in Nicosia, Cyprus. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to start or grow their career in software testing.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in testing software applications to ensure quality and functionality.
- Execute test cases and record results accurately.
- Identify and report bugs and issues clearly to the development team.
- Support the team in regression and integration testing.
- Participate in team discussions to improve product quality.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Knowledge or coursework in software testing, QA methodologies, or related IT subjects.
- Familiarity with databases/SQL will be considered a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Enthusiasm for technology and quality assurance.
Nice to have (but not required):
- Internship or academic project experience related to software testing.
- Basic understanding of software development life cycle.
