As a Junior QA Engineer, you will be expected to take ownership of exploratory testing efforts across our products. You'll work closely with the development and product teams to understand new features, identify risk areas, and test beyond the obvious to catch real-world issues. While your primary focus will be exploratory and manual testing, you’ll also contribute to test automation for regression and smoke scenarios.
Your responsibilities include:
- Performing exploratory testing of new and existing features, focusing on edge cases and real-world user scenarios.
- Documenting and reporting bugs clearly, including reproduction steps, logs, and relevant artifacts.
- Collaborating with product managers, developers, and other QA engineers during sprint planning and reviews.
- Creating and executing manual test cases where appropriate to support feature verification and regression coverage.
- Contributing to and maintaining basic test automation scripts for common regression checks.
- Participating in test planning, risk assessment, and story grooming sessions.
- Supporting release testing and validation activities in different environments.
- Learning and applying QA tools, processes, and best practices in day-to-day work.
- Using tools like browser dev tools, Postman, or proxies for API and backend validation.

Technical Requirements:
- 1–2 years of hands-on experience in software testing, specializing in manual and exploratory testing.
- A solid understanding of software QA principles, test case design, and bug reporting.
- Exposure to automation tools like Cypress, Selenium, or Playwright (even at a basic level).
- Familiarity with REST API testing and browser debugging tools.
- Excellent analytical thinking and strong attention to detail.
- Good communication skills and the ability to clearly articulate findings.
- Ability to work effectively in Agile/Scrum development teams.
