Tasks and Qualifications:Project Execution & Integration:
Manage small, straightforward projects through the full lifecycle—from initiation to closeout.
Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and budgets using industry best practices.
Ensure adherence to project management methodologies and contribute to process improvements.
Support project teams across all execution phases, seeking guidance when needed.
Assist in delivering projects on time, within budget, and to required quality standards.
Scheduling & Resource Management:
Build and maintain collaborative project schedules aligned with contractual obligations.
Develop resource plans that support budget and schedule requirements.
Monitor progress, identify deviations, and implement corrective actions.
Proactively address roadblocks to keep deliverables on track.
Stakeholder & Communication Management:
Coordinate activities across cross‑functional teams to ensure seamless collaboration.
Lead project meetings, document decisions, track action items, and ensure accountability.
Prepare and distribute project status reports.
Maintain organized, accessible project documentation.
Communicate risks, issues, and updates clearly and promptly.
Contract & Vendor Coordination:
Track contract milestones and deliverables to ensure vendor compliance.
Assist with invoice processing and payment tracking.
Maintain organized contract records and documentation.
Support review of vendor proposals and contracts.
Cost & Financial Management:
Track project expenses against approved budgets.
Support the preparation of budget reports and variance analyses.
Gather data for cost forecasting and resource planning.
Assist in implementing cost‑saving measures.
Maintain accurate financial records for all project activities.
Risk Management & Problem Solving:
Support risk and issue management, escalating concerns when necessary.
Create and maintain risk management plans.
Proactively identify and resolve project issues to minimize impact on deliverables.
Engineering Contribution:
Complete engineering design tasks within the mechanical or controls engineering scope.
Write and execute acceptance testing plans.
What You Bring:
2–4 years of experience in project management or a related field.
Experience managing projects of moderate complexity and coordinating cross‑departmental teams.
Strong understanding of project management methodologies.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong organizational and time‑management abilities; able to manage multiple priorities.
Proactive mindset with a strong sense of urgency and ownership.
Meticulous attention to detail and commitment to high‑quality deliverables.
Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, Command Center).
Demonstrated ability to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to quality standards.
Ability to build positive working relationships and collaborate effectively.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Engineering, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field.
PMP certification preferred.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Experience interacting with external vendors, consultants, and clients.
Willingness and ability to travel extensively (up to 80% annually), including across EMEA to customer sites and meetings.
