WHY THIS ROLE IS IMPORTANT TO US

 

SimCorp EMEA is building out our Project Management Service Line, with a focus on improving commercial and delivery management of SimCorp’s offerings. We are looking for Project Managers to manage the delivery of SimCorp Dimension and related services with asset managers, fund managers, banks, insurance companies and pension funds across MEA.You will be working with high profile clients in the region.  

 

In this role, you will be involved in all aspects of implementation projects including client engagement, resource planning, financial management, and stakeholder complexity. You will work with the Project Managers to lead project execution with a focus on providing greater customer value and outcomes while better measuring and reducing risk for SimCorp. 

 

Initially this role is a Junior PM and will focus on smaller project initiatives and supporting larger projects and programmes of work. This would include Project Management Office (PMO) responsibilities. With experience and by working closely with your fellow programme and project managers the role would expand into a more Senior PM position, in turn managing larger projects and taking on added responsibilities.  

 

WHAT YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR 

  • Supporting all aspects of the SimCorp implementation across products and services, including clarification and design, configuration, data conversion, integration, testing and training 
  • Assisting in the co-ordination of workshops during the Clarification and Design and requirements gathering phases of the project.  
  • Contributing to improvement and documentation of best practices for implementation projects globally in collaboration with Global PMO 
  • Actively identifying and mitigating risk 
  • Assisting with overall project and operational planning, tracking and reporting, resources planning and updates 
  • Participating in project coordination and status calls as well as following up on agreed tasks and tracking progress on agreed actions  
  • Taking on Project Management and Project coordination role on smaller projects  

 

WHAT WE VALUE

  • 3-5 years’ experience in a Junior Project Manager, Project Manager or PMO role 
  • Proactiveness and motivation to learn 
  • Assertiveness about tracking down information and proactively reaching out to stakeholders  
  • Group contributor with good communication skills  
  • PMI/Prince 2 or equivalent certification or sit for exam within 12-24 months of hire 
  • Knowledge and experience of the Investment Management/Asset Management/Financial Services industries is a strong asset 
  • Arabic speaker with enhanced English skills 
  • Saudi nationals preferred
