Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Product Owner to join our team. In this role, you will collaborate closely with the Product Manager and development teams to define and prioritize product features, manage the product backlog, gather user feedback, and ensure the successful delivery of high-quality products. You will also serve as a bridge between stakeholders, engineers, and other relevant parties, managing stakeholder expectations and driving continuous product improvement.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Define and prioritize product features in collaboration with the Product Manager, based on user needs, market trends, and business goals.
  • Create and maintain the product backlog, working closely with the development team to refine and estimate backlog items.
  • Actively seek user feedback and conduct user research to understand their needs, pain points, and preferences.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for the development teams, clarifying requirements, answering questions, and providing technical guidance.
  • Responsible for the support, testing, and creation of Integrations between HSE solutions and other Platforms
  • Manage the demand and capacity management process between the managed service provider and functional/technology area. Coordinate creation of work or change orders.
  • Partner with Health, Safety and Environment business SME's to prioritize enhancements, service, and support initiatives for the service provider.
  • Ensure the timely and successful delivery of high-quality products, defining acceptance criteria, conducting user acceptance testing, and validating product quality.
  • Manage stakeholder expectations by communicating product updates, progress, and changes, and addressing concerns or feedback.
  • Continuously seek opportunities for product improvement, collaborating with the Product Manager and engineers to analyze product performance, gather data and insights, and identify areas for enhancement or optimization.
  • Serve as Tier 3 support for assigned solutions.
  • Potential solutions include: Enablon, eComm, ErgoPoint, Sphera Safety Data Sheet, Sphera Intelligent Authoring and Sphera Refrigerant Compliance Management

Requirements and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering) or equivalent work experience
  • 2+ years working in Information Technology or similar area
  • Proven experience delivering solutions in an agile development environment. Proficiency in agile methodologies and practices.
  • Strong technical aptitude and experience as a software development engineer.
  • Experience in vendor management, collaborating with external partners to deliver high-quality products.
  • Strong business acumen and the ability to align product strategies with overall business objectives.
  • A user-centric mindset, with a focus on understanding and meeting user needs.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively work with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Strong prioritization and decision-making abilities.
  • Proven experience in stakeholder engagement and managing expectations.
  • Empathy and a user-focused approach to product development.
  • Adaptability and flexibility to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
  • In-depth domain knowledge in the animal health industry (preferred).
