Company Description
We started as a small start-up providing the Storyous point-of-sale system to cafes and restaurants. In 2021, we joined forces with the international fintech start-up Teya. However, our mission has remained unchanged—we continue to help entrepreneurs focus on their customers and their satisfaction.
By integrating the Storyous POS system with a reliable terminal, our customers get everything they need in one device. We provide a comprehensive overview of their operations, integration with popular services (delivery platforms, hotel systems, and accounting programs), and simple, efficient inventory management.
Our main goal has always been, and always will be, to put the customer first. We work closely with them to create products that further simplify their businesses. We are innovative and committed to improving the operations of small and medium-sized enterprises not only in the Czech Republic but also beyond its borders
Your Mission
We are looking for passionate, innovative, self-driven and customer-centric
Product Manager to lead Storyous Product Strategy, Strategic partnerships, and
new market expansion. This role reports directly to the CTO and involves working
closely with the heads of all departments. In this role you will be expected to be
strongly research and data oriented in defining the Storyous product strategy
and key partnerships to win in new and existing markets.
Your Mission
We are looking for a passionate, curious and customer-centric Junior Product Manager to help us improve and develop the Storyous product. You will work closely with an experienced Product Manager and our engineering, design, sales and customer support teams.
This is a great role if you want to start or grow your career in product management in a SaaS company, learn how modern digital products are built, and see the real impact of your work on cafes, restaurants and other merchants.
You will support the team in:
Understanding customers and the market
Helping to conduct customer interviews and collect feedback from our merchants.
Supporting market and competitor research to inform roadmap decisions.
Summarising insights into clear, actionable findings for the team.
Shaping and delivering product features
Assisting with defining product requirements and writing simple user stories.
Maintaining and refining the product backlog together with the Product Manager.
Preparing basic documentation (feature descriptions, release notes, FAQs).
Working with data
Using data and simple analyses (e.g. dashboards, spreadsheets) to understand how features are used.
Helping to track key product metrics and success criteria for features.
Identifying small improvements that can make merchants’ lives easier.
Collaboration and delivery
Working closely with engineering teams in an Agile environment to support timely delivery.
Participating in ceremonies such as stand-ups, planning, reviews and retrospectives.
Coordinating with internal stakeholders (sales, customer support, onboarding, operations) to ensure everyone is prepared for changes in the product.
Communication and alignment
Helping to prepare materials for internal stakeholders (e.g. feature overviews, demos, product updates).
Supporting communication of roadmap priorities and timelines.
Gathering input from different teams and ensuring it is reflected in product decisions.
You are curious about how digital products are built, enjoy solving problems, and like working with both people and data. You are comfortable in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and willing to learn quickly.
We are specifically looking for:
2 years of experience in product management or a related role (e.g. business analysis, project management, operations, UX, customer success).
Good analytical skills and basic experience working with data (e.g. Excel/Sheets, dashboards, basic SQL or similar is a plus).
High attention to detail and the ability to organise your work and prioritise tasks.
Strong customer-first mindset and motivation to understand the needs of small and medium-sized businesses.
Very good communication skills — ability to explain ideas clearly in writing and in person.
Comfortable working with multiple stakeholders and balancing different inputs.
Experience with SaaS products or technology start-ups/scale-ups.
Familiarity with the hospitality industry (e.g. work experience in cafes, restaurants, bars, hotels).
Czech/Slovak and English language for daily collaboration with local and global teams
If you are excited about product management, want to learn from experienced colleagues, and would like to help thousands of merchants run their businesses more easily, we would love to hear from you.
