Product Manager 

We have an opportunity for a Product Manager to join our Products team, reporting to our Director, Product Management, based in North America.. In this pivotal role, you will play an instrumental part in shaping the future of DNS, DHCP and IPAM (DDI) as a Product Manager on the Universal DDI (UDDI) team. Focusing on enabling customers to manage, configure and maintain the deployment and integration of element of their UDDI Deployment. ,At Infoblox, you will be able to thrive in a unique work environment that emphasizes career growth, excellence, innovation, and collaboration.    

Be a Contributor — What You’ll Do 

  • Define and execute roadmap and life cycle of UDDI Deployment (Anycast, NTP, Threat Defense DFP etc).
  • Ensure successful execution of your product vision by working hand- in- hand with talented counterparts in engineering and UX.
  • Drive meaningful adoption of your product by collaborating with Product Marketing on sales and marketing materials  
  • Understand how your product needs interact with other elements of our product portfolio to drive the success of our overarching vision     
  • Own the success of the features and capabilities you build, maintain and deliver.

Be Prepared — What You Bring

  • 2+ years of related product management experience  
  • Graduate of a Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Software Engineering, Data Science, Computer Science, or Electrical Engineering  
  • Experience in building SaaS products is a plus.
  • Experience with cloud-management of on-prem deployed infrastructure is a plus 
  • Familiarity of network services protocols (DNS, DHCP, NTP, BGP, OSPF) is a plus 
  • Exemplify strong initiative and ability to work independently with limited direction  
  • Strong ability to actively listen to customers, identify root problems, approach solutions through data driven decision making or ability to create solutions around imperfect data  
  • Ability to partner with cross- functional teams such as engineering, marketing, UX and more through the entire product lifecycle  around the world.
  • Ability to capture and articulate customer problems and translate those into product strategy and requirements  . 
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills  
  • Strong passion to take ownership of the full product experience  
  • Drive to design and build something new, innovative, and disruptive  
  • Deliver product initiatives while exemplifying our company values   

Be Successful — Your Path 

First 90 Days:  

  • Immerse in our culture,  
  • Connect with mentors (Blox Buddies)  
  • Map the systems and meet with key stakeholders that rely on your work.  
  • Discuss and create short/long term goals.  

Six Months:  

  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the company’s products, their features, and functionalities
  • Deliver compelling written product specifications, user stories, and scenarios that outline customer needs and product requirements.  
  • Participate in a user-centric design process.  
  • Participate in the agile process driving requirements, planning, and execution.  
  • Be fully engaged in the Product Management, UX, Architecture, and Engineering teams.  
  • Drive the backlog for your product and/service.

One Year: 

  • Participate as a key contributor to the roadmap and strategy definition of UDDI Deployments
  • Drive the creation and prioritization of product requirements across the Product team
  • Fully engage with the agile release process.

Skills Required

  • 2+ years of related product management experience
