About the Role

We are looking for a motivated Junior Presentation Designer to join our in-house design team in Mumbai. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or early-career professional to develop their design skills in a structured, collaborative environment. You will support Senior Designers in producing and formatting professional PowerPoint presentations and Word documents, working closely with Project Managers to deliver quality outputs that meet Milliman's global brand standards.

This role is closely supervised and well-suited to someone eager to learn the craft of designing corporate presentations and documents in a professional B2B setting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in formatting and designing PowerPoint presentations and Microsoft Word documents under the guidance of Senior Designers
  • Apply brand templates and visual assets to translate written content into clear, well-structured presentations
  • Format charts, tables, and graphics to ensure visual consistency and brand compliance
  • Support maintenance of templates and visual asset libraries
  • Perform basic quality checks and proofing to ensure deliverables meet Milliman brand standards
  • Manage version control and assist with organised file delivery
  • Communicate proactively with team members to clarify briefs and flag potential issues
  • Collaborate with Project Managers to understand timelines and contribute to on-time delivery

Skills & Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, Visual Communication, or a related field (or equivalent coursework)
  • 1–2 years of relevant experience; internships or academic project work in presentation or document design will be considered
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel and Word
  • Basic understanding of design principles — layout, typography, and color
  • Strong attention to detail with a willingness to follow and apply brand guidelines
  • Ability to interpret briefs accurately and execute tasks efficiently
  • Good communication skills and a reliable, team-oriented attitude

Nice to Have

  • Familiarity with Excel charts and their integration into presentations
  • Basic exposure to Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign)
