About the opportunity:
We are looking for a motivated (Junior) People Operations Manager to join our team at DTCP. In this newly created role, you will ensure smooth HR operations, focusing on administrative tasks, payroll, and employee documentation. You’ll work closely with the Director HR & Talent to maintain a well-functioning HRM system while fostering a collaborative, inclusive culture. Based in Hamburg (HQ) or Berlin, you will become an integral part of our young and dynamic team.
Your mission
- Oversee HR administrative tasks to ensure smooth daily operations and maintain high levels of employee satisfaction to empower our team.
- Prepare employment contracts and handle all relevant employee documentation.
- Manage the complete onboarding and offboarding processes, including the preparation of confirmation letters, contracts and exit documentation.
- Oversee the monthly payroll process, ensuring accurate and timely execution of salaries, and compensation in Germany, Luxembourg & the UK.
- Continuously improve and digitalize HR processes and tools to drive efficiency.
- Build and maintain productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders, acting as a trusted advisor on HR policies and processes.
- Lead recruitment for junior roles and manage the intern program while supporting senior recruitment activities.
- Work closely with the Director HR & Talent.
What you need to be successful:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Law, or a related field. A master’s degree or relevant certification is preferred.
- Passion for operational HR work with a strong people-oriented approach.
- Ability to work effectively with senior management and external stakeholders.
- Prior experience with payroll and HRIS (e.g. Personio, Workday), with the ability and openness to integrate and enhance HR processes.
Skills:
- Fluency in German and English, both written and spoken.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Solution-oriented, proactive, and reliable personality with a hands-on mentality
- Experience in conducting market research and compensation benchmarking.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work independently, with strong attention to detail while effectively collaborating in teams.
