Responsibilities will include:
- Assist in end-to-end payroll processing on a monthly basis.
- Support in handling salary inputs such as new joiners, exits, transfers, and salary revisions.
- Ensure timely preparation and distribution of salary to employees.
- Assist in statutory compliance including PF, ESI, PT, LWF, and TDS deductions.
- Maintain accurate payroll records and employee data in payroll systems.
- Address basic payroll queries from employees and escalate complex cases to the Payroll Manager.
- Assist in generating payroll MIS reports for management review.
- Coordinate with Finance and HR teams for payroll reconciliations and related activities.
- Assists in preparing and maintaining salary schedules
- Stay updated on payroll regulations and statutory amendments.
- Basic knowledge of payroll processes and statutory compliance.
- Good numerical and analytical ability.
- Proficiency in MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables preferred).
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive data.
- Bachelor’s degree in commerce, Accounting, HR, or related field.
- 0–2 years of experience in payroll or HR operations (freshers with internship experience can apply).
- Knowledge of payroll software/HRMS is an added advantage
