POSITION SUMMARY
The Payroll Administrator works closely with the Payroll & Benefits Manager to ensure timely and accurate processing of the payroll for the UK and Europe. The Payroll Administrator will assist in the accurate and timely processing of payroll for all employees in the UK and EU. This role supports the Payroll and Benefits Manager in maintaining payroll records, gathering monthly payroll data and completion of payroll input sheets for processing. The position requires strong attention to detail, confidentiality, and a willingness to learn UK & EU payroll systems and processes
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
· Assist with the preparation and processing of monthly payroll for all employees in the UK and EU.
· Verify and input employee data, including new hires, terminations, and changes in pay or benefits.
· Maintain accurate payroll records.
· Respond to employee payroll queries promptly and professionally.
· Support the running of payroll reports and assist with data gathering for audits, as needed.
· Collaborate with HR and Finance teams to ensure accurate processing and provide strong communication.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
· Previous experience in payroll or administrative roles preferred but not necessary (Full training will be provided)
· Intermediate numerical and analytical skills, with attention to detail.
· Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel and systems (training will be provided)
· Good organizational and time-management skills.
· Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
· Must possess the legal ability to work in the United Kingdom/EU.
· Willing to learn multiple complex procedures, and ask questions if unsure.
· Team Player with a positive, proactive attitude.
· Flexibility and resilience.
SCHEDULE
· M-F 09:00-18:00 -but flexibility when required.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to:
· Spend a considerable amount of time sitting and typing/keyboarding using a computer (i.e., keyboard, mouse, and monitor) along with various office equipment.
