Ready to make connectivity from space universally accessible, secure and actionable? Then you've come to the right place!
E-Space is bridging Earth and space to enable hyper-scaled deployments of Internet of Things (IoT) solutions and services. We are building a highly-advanced low Earth orbit (LEO) space system that will fundamentally change the design, economics, manufacturing and service delivery associated with traditional satellite and terrestrial IoT systems.
We're intentional, we're unapologetically curious and we're 100% committed to innovate space-based communications and deliver actionable intelligence that will expand global economies, protect space and our planet and enhance our overall quality of life.
The E-Space Manufacturing team builds the world's most advanced aerospace products at high rate and high precision.
As a Junior Manufacturing Engineer, you'll learn to design, improve, and scale the processes that build our satellites. Working under a senior manufacturing engineer, you'll support process development, tooling, and new product introduction - building the skills to own production processes of your own. It's a hands-on entry point into manufacturing engineering in a fast-scaling aerospace environment. This position reports to the Manufacturing Engineering leadership team.
What you'll be doing:
- Support process design, work instructions, and tooling for satellite production lines under senior guidance.
- Help bring new products into production - building fixtures, running trials, and documenting routings.
- Collect and analyze production data to identify yield, cycle-time, and quality improvements.
- Assist with equipment setup, commissioning, and troubleshooting on the floor.
- Support continuous-improvement efforts (Lean, 5S) and corrective actions.
What you will bring to this role:
- 0-3 years of manufacturing or process engineering experience (internships, co-ops, and projects count).
- Foundational understanding of manufacturing processes, GD&T, and DFM.
- Comfort with data analysis and reading engineering drawings.
- Hands-on aptitude and eagerness to learn on the production floor.
- BS in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial, or related Engineering, or equivalent.
Extra points for the following:
- Internship or project experience in a production or assembly environment.
- Exposure to Lean / Six Sigma, CAD, or statistical analysis tools.
- Aerospace, electronics, or automation manufacturing background.

What We Do
E-Space is a global space company focused on bridging Earth and space with the most sustainable low earth orbit (LEO) network that is expected to reach over one hundred thousand multi-application communication satellites to help businesses and governments securely and affordably access the power of space to solve problems on Earth. Founded by industry pioneer Greg Wyler, E-Space is focused on democratizing space and transforming industries by bringing down the cost of space-based communications, raising the level of satellite system resiliency and setting a new standard in sustainable space infrastructure that will effectively minimize and reduce space debris and destruction while preserving access to space for future generations.
