About the role
Responsible for providing legal support to Careem's business units. The ideal candidate will have a strong academic background in law and a passion for helping businesses succeed.
What you’ll do
- Provide legal support to Careem's business units on a variety of issues, working closely with the rest of Careem’s legal, procurement and compliance teams.
- Draft and negotiate contracts, including purchase agreements, non-disclosure agreements, marketing agreements and service agreements.
- Conduct legal research and analysis to support the Careem's business decisions.
- Provide administrative and technical support to the Careem legal team, including maintaining and organising contracts and tracking legal documents.
- Research and prepare the necessary documentation for setting up new legal entities.
- Provide ongoing support to legal entities, including preparation of the necessary documentation for statutory filings and license renewals.
- Stay up-to-date on changes in the law and their impact on Careem's business.
What you need
- Minimum of a law degree from a reputable university
- Fluent in English (both oral and written)
- Minimum of 2 years of work experience
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Comfortable in working with shifting priorities, ambiguity and fast-paced environments.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
