Due to our continuous growth, we are looking for a dedicated Junior IT Project / Application Manager in the field of logistics to strengthen our Business Application Team.

As a Junior IT Project / Application Manager, you can expect a varied job with lots of learning opportunities. In this position, you will support international IT projects in the field of logistics, work closely with the specialist departments to analyze and improve our business processes and coordinate external partners.

Job Description

PROJECT MANAGEMENT

In your role as Junior IT Project Manager, you will support the management and implementation of international ERP projects in the SAP environment. You will accompany the project from requirements to implementation and learn all the important steps of project management in close cooperation with the specialist departments and external partners.

APPLICATION MANAGEMENT

In Application Management, you will work on the support and further development of various SAP applications in the field of logistics. You will learn how to improve the application both professionally and technically.

PROCESS MANAGEMENT

You will support the clarification of requirements with the specialist departments, assist in the development of new integrated solutions and processes for the ERP system landscape and learn how to manage the technical implementation. In addition, you will provide global support (3rd level) within the regular support structure for business applications in your area of responsibility.

BUDGET MANAGEMENT

You support the planning and monitoring of the project and application budget to ensure efficient use of financial resources and compliance with the given framework.

PARTNER MANAGEMENT

You will help to plan the requirements and use of external resources in line with the implementation effort. You will learn how to ensure a smooth implementation and cooperation with all relevant stakeholders.

Qualifications

Completed technical or business education (ideally IT/BWL studies)

First professional experience or internships ideally in project management and SAP environment

Basic knowledge of business processes in the field of logistics and/or customs

Interest and willingness to familiarize yourself with SAP logistics topics (Transportation Management, ERP Sales & Distribution, Global Trade Services)

Business fluent in written and spoken English

Open, communicative and solution-oriented personality who feels comfortable in a multicultural environment

Willingness to work autonomously and independently in a team-oriented environment

Strong self-motivation in learning and working with new technologies and applications

Additional Information

Due to legal reasons, we are obliged to disclose the minimum salary according to the collective agreement for this position, which is EUR 2,229 gross per month. However, our attractive compensation package is based on market-oriented salaries and is therefore significantly above the stated minimum salary.
