Job DescriptionJunior HR People Data & Analytics Analyst supports the delivery of HR reporting and analytics services within Shared Business Services (SBS), ensuring accurate data extraction, preparation, and reporting.
The role focuses on maintaining data integrity, supporting dashboards and reports, and enabling data-driven HR processes across the organization.
Main Responsibilities:
Data Extraction & Preparation
- Extract and compile HR data from systems (e.g. Workday) to support reporting and analytics activities.
- Prepare datasets for standard and ad-hoc reports, ensuring completeness and accuracy.
Reporting & Dashboard Support
- Generate and maintain standard HR reports and dashboards.
- Support recurring reporting cycles (e.g. headcount, workforce metrics, cycle reporting).
- Ensure timely delivery of reports in line with defined timelines.
Data Quality and Validation
- Perform data validation checks to ensure accuracy and consistency across systems.
- Identify and flag data discrepancies or inconsistencies.
- Support data cleansing and correction activities.
Process and Cycle Support
- Support data preparation for key HR processes (e.g. Annual Pay, Talent cycles).
- Assist in tracking and monitoring process metrics.
Documentation & Governance Support
- Maintain reporting documentation and data definitions.
- Follow data governance standards and procedures.
Continuous Improvement
- Identify opportunities to improve data quality, process efficiency, and standardization.
- Support the development, improvements and updates to SOPs, and their implementation.
Experience:
- 1–3 years of experience in HR reporting, data analysis, shared services, or related roles
- Experience working with data-heavy processes or reporting environments
- Exposure to HR systems or workforce data is an advantage
- Strong attention to detail and data accuracy
- Strong Excel and data handling skills
Knowledge:
- Basic understanding of HR data and workforce metrics
- Awareness of reporting and data management principles
- Understanding of structured processes and reporting cycles
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field, equivalent experience will also be considered
Languages:
- English (Fluent)
Technical/ Functional skills:
- Strong Excel skills (data manipulation, reporting, basic analysis)
- Experience with HR systems (e.g. Workday)
- Ability to handle and validate large datasets
- Familiarity with reporting tools (e.g. dashboards, BI tools) is an advantage
- Ability to follow structured reporting processes
