The Position

Assist in creating visually appealing designs and assisting the design team in various design projects. 

Junior Graphic Designers collaborate with senior designers, clients, and team members to understand design requirements and objectives. They assist in developing design solutions that effectively communicate messages and align with project goals. By leveraging their creative skills and design software knowledge, they contribute to the production of various design assets across different mediums, including print, digital, and social media.

Junior Graphic Designers work under the guidance of senior designers to ensure consistency and adherence to brand guidelines in their design deliverables. They assist in the creation of layouts, selecting appropriate typography, and incorporating visual elements to enhance the overall visual appeal.

Support the design team in creating visually compelling designs, gaining hands-on experience, and developing their skills in various design aspects. Junior Graphic Designers play a crucial role in assisting the team to deliver high-quality designs that effectively communicate messages and contribute to the overall success of design projects.


Responsibilities

  • Assist in the creation and production of various marketing collateral outputs through AI tools, delivering high-quality and visually appealing designs.

  • Support the development of visually appealing and on-brand designs that effectively communicate the organization's message and objectives.

  • Collaborate with senior designers and cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and deliver design solutions that meet stakeholder expectations.

  • Execute design tasks with attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and adherence to brand guidelines.

  • Perform administrative tasks using Google Sheets, Google Drive and other tools, ensuring accurate documentation and project alignment for design requests.

  • Contribute to brainstorming sessions and provide creative input to generate new ideas and concepts.

  • Take ownership of assigned design projects, managing time and resources effectively to meet deadlines.

  • Seek feedback from senior designers and incorporate revisions to refine design concepts and deliver high-quality work.

  • Develop a strong understanding of the organization's brand identity and apply it consistently across all design projects.

  • Utilize design software and tools, such as Adobe Creative Suite (Adobe Express, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), to help create and refine designs.

  • Actively participate in design critiques, team meetings, and professional development opportunities to continuously improve skills and knowledge.

  • Adapt to changing priorities and work collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.


Who you are

You are a proactive, innovative problem-solver with a focus on sustainable and scalable solutions. You love to stay abreast of the latest digital updates in order to provide partners with cutting-edge design capabilities, being fully aware of the most current design trends.

Further requirements 

  • 1-2 years of professional experience in graphic design, either through internships, freelance work, or entry-level positions.

  • Proficiency in graphic design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Adobe Express, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).

  • Knowledge of design principles, including typography, color theory, and layout design.

  • Familiarity with creating visual assets for both print and digital platforms.

  • Understanding of file formats and specifications for different mediums.

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to deliver high-quality work within deadlines.

  • Ability to take direction and incorporate feedback from senior designers and stakeholders.

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

  • Basic knowledge of print production processes and specifications (preferred, but not required).

  • Portfolio showcasing a range of design projects and demonstrating creativity and technical skills.
