Your future position
The Junior Geospatial Analyst will play a key role in managing and analysing spatial data to support various geospatial projects. They will be responsible for performing spatial queries, data visualization, and ensuring data accuracy and integrity. This role provides an opportunity to apply and develop GIS skills in a dynamic environment while collaborating with a team of geospatial professionals. The ideal candidate will contribute to the organization's geospatial operations, enhance data-driven decision-making, and support the continuous improvement of geospatial methodologies.
Your mission:
- Responsible for maintaining and improving the quality of spatial data.
- Effective analysis and communication of geospatial insights.
- Active participation in team discussions and problem-solving initiatives.
- Working collaboratively with other teams to ensure seamless data integration.
- Completing assigned tasks within deadlines while maintaining high accuracy.
It will be a match if you are or have:
- A degree in GIS or a related field.
- At least 1 year of experience using GIS tools such as QGIS or ArcGIS.
- Experience with spatial queries and geospatial data visualisation.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of geospatial databases (PostGIS, SQL) and topology concepts.
- Familiarity with Python or other scripting languages for GIS automation.
- Understanding of maritime or transportation-related geospatial analysis.
