Junior Functional Consultant

Functional Consultant Role:

1. Qualifications of Candidate
   

·         Experience in any financial/accounting system

·         Strong background in accounting, information technology, computer science, or a related field

·         Excellent verbal and written communication skills in communicating with teams across geographies

·         Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to meet client’s needs

·         Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work independently or in a team.

·         Out of the box thinker who is comfortable in a fast-paced environment

·         Demonstrates good judgment and professional advice to clients

·         Can work with stakeholders to deliver key and transformative IT systems/solutions.

·         Experience with localization requirements over a diverse range of countries/fiscal requirements

·         Ability to effectively work in a cross-functional team environment including business and product development

·         Strong track record of influencing successful product/solution vision/roadmap and executing a plan

·         Knowledge and experience in dealing with end-to-end IT projects implementations

·         Demonstrated success in delivering key and tangible results in IT projects implementations

·         Exposure to the regulations, standards and best practices for ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems

·         Eager to learn new and emerging technologies

1. Roles and Responsibilities
   

·         Implementing and deploying financial systems

·         Understanding user and system requirements and identifying enhancement customizations

·         Planning and documenting project scope, deliverables, milestones, and risks, using project management tools and methodologies to monitor progress and performance.

·         Conduct system testing and validating software solutions before and after deployment to fix any errors or defects

·         Configuring financial systems to meet customer requirements.

·         Data gathering, preparation, and migration into financial systems

·         Develop user training materials

·         Conduct UAT (user acceptance testing) for clients when necessary

·          Provide comprehensive training and documentation for end users as well as ongoing support and maintenance

·         Seeking feedback from clients to improve skills and services

·         Deliver effective functional consultancy throughout the implementation of financial systems

·         Provide technical advice for the sales team and be involved in the pre-sales activities when required as a functional expert

·         Undertake presentations and demonstrations to prospective clients

·         Provide support to customers when needed

·         Troubleshoot any system issues or bugs that may arise

·         Liaise with cross-functional and technology projects team where appropriate

1. Education Qualification
   

·         Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance/economics/IT or any other related degree

·         Business Analysis/Project Management/IT professional certifications will be an added advantage
