ICF is a rapidly growing, entrepreneurial, multi-faceted consulting company, seeking Jr Full Stack Software Developer. The software developer will participate in building web applications in support of DoD programs, work with technical leads to develop and enforce standards, collaborate with a development team, and follow solutions as they are developed through production deployment.
You will be part of an established team supporting multiple contracts for our clients in Washington, DC. The ICF team at performs custom software development to modernize siloed, legacy applications using modular design standards. The team works closely with clients and other contractors to ensure the performance and reliability of public-facing, mission-critical applications.
We are looking for a Junior Full Stack Developer to join a new team to help build websites to support analytics and fraud detection tools.
What you’ll be doing:
- Work in an Agile team with clients to build mission critical web applications
- Build interactive and responsive front ends with JavaScript frameworks like Angular and React
- Develop REST APIs using Java and .NET
- Write, debug, and optimize SQL queries for OLTP systems
- Design and build for performance and accessibility
What you must have:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or other related scientific or technical discipline
- 1+ years of experience with REST API development
- 1+ years of experience with front end development using modern JavaScript frameworks such as Angular or React
- 1+ years of experience with HTML, CSS, ES6 JavaScript, and Web Standards
- 1+ years of experience with JavaScript and JavaScript libraries
- 1+ years of experience with Java and Java libraries
- 1+ years of experience with SQL and database modeling concepts
- 1+ years of experience with Object Oriented Programming (OOP) and design patterns
- 1+ years of experience with developer tools, git, JIRA, etc
- 1+ years of experience with responsive web design (RWD)

- Experience with scripting in either bash or PowerShell

Pay Range - There are multiple factors that are considered in determining final pay for a position, including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location, education and certifications as well as contract provisions regarding labor categories that are specific to the position.
The pay range for this position based on full-time employment is:
$57,737.00 - $98,153.00
