Junior Foreign Trade Analyst

Location: Aruja, Sao Paulo, Brazil (onsite)

As our next Junior Foreign Trade Analyst, you’ll be at the forefront of supporting import and export operations, ensuring compliance with international trade regulations and facilitating the efficient flow of materials and products across global markets. Your expertise in foreign trade, customs processes, and international logistics will be crucial in supporting business operations and customer satisfaction.

• Support import activities based on business and commercial requirements.
• Contact and negotiate with international suppliers regarding pricing, lead times, and shipping methods.
• Prepare import cost estimates and forecasts.
• Coordinate purchase approvals, confirm orders, and monitor shipments until delivery.
• Manage documentation related to import and export operations and provide required information to Finance and other departments.
• Issue invoices and debit notes related to import transactions and customs clearance activities.
• Participate in the export process, preparing and coordinating shipping documentation such as invoices, certificates of origin, packing lists, and bills of lading.
• Monitor production schedules to ensure export commitments are met.
• Track invoice payments, foreign exchange settlements, and related accounting controls.
• Monitor import costs and coordinate with Finance and Accounting teams.
• Prepare periodic reports related to import and export operations, including volumes, payment schedules, and transaction status.
• Maintain organized records and archives for the Foreign Trade area.

• Bachelor’s degree completed in International Business, Foreign Trade, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Knowledge of foreign trade legislation and customs regulations.
• Strong organizational and administrative skills.
• Ability to work with international suppliers and customers.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Initiative, adaptability, and willingness to take on new challenges.
• English proficiency.

• Experience in import/export operations.
• Knowledge of customs clearance processes and international shipping documentation.
• Experience working with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and international logistics providers.
• Familiarity with ERP systems and foreign trade management tools.
