Job Description
This role within the EMEA Business Finance department offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the Managed and Support Services (M&S) business. The M&S Team is dedicated to providing comprehensive financial analysis, including the interpretation of financial reports, identification of trends, assessment of risks, and evaluation of opportunities. Our core function involves gathering, interpreting, and evaluating financial information, encompassing historical data and both short-term and long-term financial forecasts.
As an integral part of the broader Business Finance Team, you will gain invaluable insights into the company's operational framework and enhance your analytical capabilities. This position fosters a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging personal development and growth.
Key Responsibilities of the Junior Financial Analyst:
Assist with backlog preparation for Managed Services,
Provide support to business partners regarding revenue and cost inquiries,
Forecast and report on cash flows for Managed Services,
Set up and monitor invoicing activity for Managed Services,
Prepare and upload journal entries into Oracle for Managed Services organisation,
Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations,
Assist with the monitoring of fixed assets and tracking of lease obligations,
Provide support for audit and SOX testing,
Offer reporting assistance to Financial Controllers and Experts,
Control over Manual Adjustments Tool
Basic Requirements
Financial background (at least bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field).
Excellent communication skills, able to interact with Customer, Finance and non-Finance staff at various levels
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Proficiency in Excel or Google sheets with usage of advanced functions
Self starter and team player
Excellent English (spoken, written)
