Job DescriptionWe are currently recruiting for the role of Junior Engineer - Highways (Asystent/tka Projektanta Drogowego) with experience in roadway (or railway) design to join our ambitious and experienced Linear Infrastructures team. We are working on stages as early as feasibility studies up to detailed designs on a wide range of projects, either as standalone linear infrastructures team or as part of multidisciplinary teams. Our clients are from the private and public sector and include long term Framework Agreements with numerous Local Authorities together with Design and Build commissions for many major Contractors. Our office has an established track record of successfully delivering roadway designs for many years, throughout the USA, Canada and Australia. You may have the opportunity to work on some of the most iconic Transportation projects, being part of a diverse and multicultural Enterprise Capabilities Team (Poland/Spain).
Here's what you'll do:
Supports designers and engineers in the delivery of highway and linear infrastructure projects.
Works on assigned tasks under close supervision, following clear instructions and established procedures.
Assists in the preparation of 2D drawings and basic CAD documentation.
Updates drawings and applies mark-ups as instructed by designers or engineers.
Uses CAD and engineering software as a support tool for basic drafting and data input tasks.
Assists in collecting, organising, and maintaining project data, reference materials, and documentation.
Performs basic checks of own work before submission for review.
Supports the preparation of design deliverables and project documentation.
Learns and develops technical and software skills related to highway and linear infrastructure design.
Works in accordance with project quality requirements, schedule, and internal procedures.
Here's what we're looking for:
Proven track record of working on highway designs (+2 years).
Experience on highways design (and/or railway) and/or clear appetite to develop a technical career on that field.
Some experience in geometrical design at least one of the following packages: InRoads, OpenRoads / OpenRail, Rail Track, Civil 3D, Geopak or 12d Model.
Good command of CAD software (preferable MicroStation and/or AutoCAD).
Communicative level of English (oral and written).
CV in English language.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor or Master degree in Civil Engineering.
