Junior DevOps Engineer

We are looking for a Junior DevOps Engineer who is eager to learn and grow in cloud infrastructure, automation, and deployment practices. You will support the development and operations teams by assisting in maintaining reliable systems, automating workflows, and improving deployment processes.

Responsibilities

• Assist in building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for application deployment
• Support cloud infrastructure management on AWS (EC2, S3, IAM, etc.)
• Help deploy and manage applications using Docker
• Write basic scripts (Bash, Python) to automate routine tasks
• Monitor system performance and assist in troubleshooting issues
• Help maintain logs, alerts, and dashboards using monitoring tools
• Collaborate with development teams to support releases and bug fixes
• Follow best practices for system reliability, security, and scalability

• 2+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud, or related fields (internships included)
• Basic understanding of cloud platforms, preferably AWS
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or CloudFormation)
• Familiarity with Linux/Unix systems and command-line tools
• Basic knowledge of CI/CD concepts and tools (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, etc.)
• Exposure to Docker or containerization concepts
• Basic scripting skills (Bash, Python, or similar)
• Understanding of version control systems like Git

Nice to Have

• Exposure to Kubernetes or container orchestration
• Knowledge of monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch)
• Basic understanding of networking and security concepts
• Relevant certifications (AWS Cloud Practitioner, etc.)
