Your team: The DevOps team is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and continuous improvement of our software development and delivery processes. This includes automating infrastructure provisioning, configuring and managing cloud services, building and deploying software releases, and monitoring application performance and availability. Our team utilizes a range of technologies including Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, Terraform, Ansible, Jenkins, and GitLab to achieve these objectives.

About you

As a Junior DevOps Engineer at TRG, you'll have the opportunity to apply your foundational knowledge and gain hands-on experience in DevOps practices. 

Your responsibilities will include assisting in deploying product updates across our services, participating in the identification and resolution of production issues, and contributing to the implementation of integrations that meet customer needs.

What you’ll work on:

• Handle the IT infrastructure as per the business needs of the code which can be deployed in a hybrid multi-tenant environment
• Collaborate with team members to improve the company’s engineering tools systems and procedures
• Containerize applications for deployment
• Automate tests and deploy the code
• Continuous monitoring of system's performance
• Apply proper strategies for ensuring applications having 100% uptime
• Build independent web-based tools, microservices and solutions to server complete integration of development to production
• Develop scripts and automation using Perl/Python/Groovy/Java/Bash
• Configure and manage data sources like Mongo, Elasticsearch, Redis, Neo4J, ArangoDB, etc
• Manage source control including GIT
• Write necessary documentation regarding specifications of all the above

What we look for:

• A foundational understanding of DevOps concepts.
• A willingness to learn and grow in the DevOps field.
• Basic knowledge of Bash or Python in a Linux environment.
• Familiarity with CI (Continuous Integration) and CD (Continuous Deployment) principles.
• An interest in Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• A willingness to gain proficiency in tools like Jenkins, Ansible, or other CI tools.
• An eagerness to explore monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Nagios, etc.
• A desire to learn and work with Docker and Kubernetes.
• An interest in web-related technologies, including web applications, web services, and service-oriented architectures (SOA), as well as a basic understanding of network/web-related protocols.
