Junior Developer

Systems Integration & Development (SID), is an award-winning IT solutions provider headquartered in McLean, VA and is seeking a Junior Developer to join their team. This is a full-time position and is remote.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Assist in the design and implementation of software applications
• Participate in the entire software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, coding, testing, and debugging
• Front line of user support, document issues, work with more senior developer's to resolve issues
• UX/UI design and development
• Collaborate with team members to ensure the timely delivery of high-quality software
• Conduct code reviews and provide feedback to enhance performance and maintainability
• Assist with documentation and maintenance of software applications
• Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging technologies
• Additional duties as assigned

Requirements

Skills & Experience:

• Bachelor's degree completed
• 0-1 years of experience in a technical role
• Understanding of software development concepts and methodologies
• Ideally some UX/UI knowledge
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Ability to work well in a team environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience with version control systems, such as Git, is a plus
• Passion for learning and developing new skills
