What You’ll Do

As a Junior Data Scientist, you’ll work on real projects from day one, contributing to the design, development, and delivery of data-driven solutions.

You’ll:

• Work on well-defined data and machine learning problems within project teams

• Build and support data pipelines, models, and analytical workflows

• Explore and analyse datasets to uncover patterns and insights

• Assist in developing and evaluating machine learning models

• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code

• Collaborate with data scientists, engineers, and product teams

• Participate in code reviews and technical discussions

• Continuously learn and apply new tools, techniques, and approaches

What We’re Looking For

We’re less focused on years of experience and more interested in how you think and solve problems.

You should have:

• A strong foundation in Python and programming fundamentals

• Solid understanding of mathematics, statistics, and data structures

• Exposure to data science or machine learning concepts

• Applicants must be legally authorized to work in South Africa.

• Experience with tools like Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn (or similar)

• A STEM degree (BSc minimum; strong academic performance preferred)

Our Talent Acquisition process:

1. Initial screening (either with a member of the Talent team or via video interview)
