About this role:

We are looking for a talented junior Data Engineer ready to work alongside our data scientists and engineers from the same team having as the primary mission to build tools and prepare the infrastructure for data-intensive products to improve the company's performance across the domain.

What you will do:

• Build, administer, and scale data processing pipelines
• Improve the scalability, stability, accuracy, speed, and efficiency of our existing data systems
• Support data scientists to make prototypes production-ready
• Ensure ways to enhance data quality and reliability
• Practice CI/CD

What you bring to the table: 

• Engineering degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Knowledge of Python and/or Scala.
• SQL knowledge.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• A basic understanding of software development best practices, including version control, CI/CD, automation, pair programming, documentation, and testing.

Even better if:

• Experience with Spark is a plus.
• Experience with orchestration tools (e.g., Airflow, Prefect, Dagster).
• Experience with Databricks.
• Knowledge of Kubernetes is a plus
