As a Junior Data Engineer, you will help shape and operate our cloud-based Business Intelligence and Data Platform, using services such as Azure Databricks, Azure Data Factory and SQL Server. Working closely with solution architects, product owners, report developers, and business stakeholders, you will build reliable data pipelines, deliver high-quality reporting models, and enable data-driven decision-making across the organization. This role offers an excellent opportunity to grow your expertise in Azure-based data engineering while contributing to modern analytics solutions.
Your responsibilities
- Translate business reporting requirements into technical solutions
- Develop and maintain Azure-based data pipelines and integrations
- Implement data transformations and build analytical data models
- Ensure data quality through testing, monitoring, and optimization
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to deliver impactful BI solutions
- Document technical implementations and data processes
- Support platform operations, enhancements, and upgrades
- Contribute to incident, change, and service management activities
To succeed in this role you’d need:
- Degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Systems, or comparable background
- 0–2 years experience in data engineering or data analytics
- Experience in working with virtual and international teams, fluency in written/spoken English
