The Impact You’ll Make

As a Data Analyst on the Fraud team, you will support the detection and prevention of identity fraud by transforming data into clear, actionable insights. Your work will directly enable fraud analysts, customer success teams, and product stakeholders to understand fraud trends, monitor system performance, and respond effectively to fraudulent activity that bypasses automated detection.  

What You’ll Own & Drive
  • Fraud Data Analysis & Monitoring: Query and analyze fraud-related datasets to support investigations, identify trends, and surface anomalies linked to fraudulent activity. 
  • Dashboards & Reporting: Build, maintain, and improve dashboards and recurring reports that track fraud performance and support operational and customer-facing insights. 
  • Data Quality & Process Support: Monitor data quality, flag inconsistencies, and support continuous improvement of fraud analytics workflows and processes. 
  • Collaboration & Communication: Partner with Fraud Analysts, Customer Success, and technical teams to translate data into clear insights and actionable recommendations.

  • Clear Communicator – You can translate analytical findings into clear, concise insights for non-technical stakeholders, including Fraud Analysts and Customer Success teams. 
  • Structured & Reliable – You work in an organized way, follow processes carefully, and deliver accurate, repeatable analytical outputs. 
  • Curious & Eager to Learn – You’re motivated to understand how fraud works, how systems detect it, and how data can improve prevention efforts. 
  • Adaptable Team Player – You’re comfortable working across teams, adjusting to changing priorities, and supporting both reactive and proactive fraud initiatives. 
Your Background
  • 1–2 years of experience in a data analyst, reporting, or analytics-focused role. 
  • Educational background in Data Analytics, Business Analytics, Mathematics, Statistics, or related fields. 
  • Strong SQL skills, including joins, aggregations, and basic query optimization. 
  • Working knowledge of Python for data analysis, automation, or light data processing. 
  • Experience building or maintaining dashboards using BI tools (Tableau, Power BI, or similar). 
  • High attention to detail and a structured, organized approach to analytical work. 
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain data clearly to non-technical audiences. 
  • A problem-solving mindset and curiosity to understand how data supports fraud prevention. 

Nice to have: 

  • Exposure to fraud, risk, trust & safety, identity, or operational analytics domains. 
  • Experience working with recurring reports, monitoring workflows, or SLA-driven environments.
