CYE is looking for a Junior Cybersecurity Analyst to join our security team within the critical cyber operations group. As a Cybersecurity Analyst, you’ll help fortify CYE’s security posture, monitoring capabilities, and investigate alerts from multiple security solutions.
Responsibilities
- Monitor incidents and alerts from endpoints, network devices, and security solutions
- Perform level 1 triage of incoming events
- Implement new security controls to protect CYE’s on-prem/cloud infrastructure
- Deploy security policies to the global user’s organization
- Support the development and implementation of processes, security policies, security foundations, and security standards
- Proactive monitoring of cyber threats (threat hunting)
- Assist in incident response activity on CYE’s on-prem/cloud environment
- Work with the security team in achieving security certificates
Qualifications
- At least one year of experience working in the field of system or information security
- Self-starter, fast learner, team player, and a strong people person
- Knowledge of cybersecurity attack vectors, vulnerabilities, and exploits
- Experience and knowledge of security technologies and tools (e.g., CSPM, XDR, SIEM, Email security solutions, etc.)
- Fluent English (both written and verbal)
- Familiarity with cloud security concepts (Azure, AWS)
- Familiarity with Microsoft 365 security products – an advantage
- Security-related certifications – an advantage
