Junior Controller (Finance & Tax) – Jakarta, Indonesia

Role Responsibilities:
Financial Reporting
- Support preparation of management reports and financial analysis.
- Monitor balance sheet accounts and investigate variances.
- Ensure accounting records comply with company policies and Indonesian Financial Accounting Standards (PSAK).
- Assist in maintaining effective internal controls.
- Support external and internal audits.
Budgeting & Financial Analysis
- Assist in preparing annual budgets and forecasts.
- Analyze budget variances.
- Support cash flow monitoring and forecasting.
- Prepare financial analysis for management decision-making.
Compliance
- Ensure compliance with Indonesian tax and accounting regulations.
- Support statutory reporting requirements.
- Maintain documentation for audit and regulatory purposes.
Tax Responsibilities
- Prepare and review monthly tax calculations.
- Assist with filing and payment of Indonesian taxes, including VAT (PPN), Corporate Income Tax (PPh Badan), Withholding Taxes (PPh 21, PPh 23, PPh 4(2), PPh 26 as applicable)
- Ensure timely submission of tax returns.
- Maintain tax documentation and supporting schedules.
- Coordinate with external tax consultants and tax authorities when necessary.
- Monitor changes in Indonesian tax regulations and assess their impact on the business.

Role Requirements:
- 2–5 years of experience in accounting, controlling, or finance.
- Experience with Indonesian tax compliance is required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Experience in a multinational company is an advantage.
- Strong understanding of Indonesian tax regulations, PSAK accounting standards, General accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, NetSuite, or similar).
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Brevet A & B Tax Certification, CPA or Chartered Accountant (CA) certification will be considered an added advantage.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Work Shift
