We are looking for you as a Junior Content Operations (All genders welcome!)as soon as possible for 6 months as an illness replacement in our team in Munich.
The Junior Content Operation Manager is working very closely with the Head of Editorial Content and is responsible for the entire workflow - from budget planning to magazine production or publication of digital content. The position is an important interface to the teams and partners who work on all editorial products. As part of an Operations HUB the role centralizes and addresses day-to-day operational issues, efficiently communicating them to the operations team and proposing effective solutions. This role is based in Munich and reports to the Content Operations Senior Manager, Team Lead based in Munich
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- Budgeting, financial administration and contributor management

Preparation and supervision of budgets for digital and print editorial products

Track and maintain monthly and annual content budgets and estimates, coordinating with operations, editorial, creative, and financial teams.

Manage the processing of editorial and operational costs, meticulously tracking invoices in collaboration with editorial, finance, and operations teams.

Process content invoices, and liaise with editors to ensure contracts are current.

Oversee supplier onboarding processes and maintain relationships with various outside vendors including new contributors and freelancers.

Contribute to the oversight of the network of contributors and freelancers and their respective contracts.

Clarification and securing of legal coordinates for content , copyright etc.
Workflow management

Operational coordination and workflow management during the editorial processes across print (K4) and digital (copilot).

Working on the magazine flatplan

Creating and policing the production schedule

Actively participate in editorial meetings to ensure adherence to schedules and deadlines.

Provide operations support for the print production and editorial teams, working with editors, creatives, and production team members on lineups, routing, asset management, fact sheets, syndication, and related.

Become an expert in new editorial tools, facilitating their seamless integration within the teams.
Ideal Skills and Qualifications:

1-2 years at a major media company or equivalent, in operations or content/project management, with demonstrated success coordinating budgets, payments, and workflow.

Highly-organized, independent multitasker who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is able to manage multiple stakeholders.

Exceptional communication skills with an eye for detail and a passion for process.

Strong problem-solving and time-management skills and organizational expertise.

Experience working in content management systems.

Language skills: Fluent German and Business-level English required
