We’re looking for bright economics students with an analytical mindset, positive energy, and strong problem-solving skills to join Implement Economics.
What you’ll do
As a junior consultant at Implement Economics, you’ll be trained to apply your knowledge to solve real-world problems. You will embark on a steep learning curve and be part of the project team on equal terms with full-time consultants.
Our projects typically combine both micro- and macroeconomics, industrial economics, financial and econometric tools to analyse the problem at hand. We’re particularly passionate about:
- International trade and globalisation
- Economic regulation of utility and network industries
- Socioeconomic analysis of new policy interventions
- Digitisation and digital platforms
- Market and industry analysis
In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to influence the type of projects you work on, and your areas of responsibility will vary between external client engagements and internal assignments. You can expect that a significant part of your work will be done for clients in collaboration with colleagues. On these projects, your responsibilities will range from data collection and processing, data analysis, building Excel models, and programming to managing certain parts of the project. When you’re not working on client projects, you will be supporting internal business development.
The workload is approximately 15–25 hours per week. However, we also understand that you must prioritise your studies, and we’re aware that there will be times when you are occupied by exams.
What you’ll bring
On top of being a great team player with strong analytical skills who doesn’t compromise on quality, we’re looking for someone who is:
• Currently studying economics with a strong academic record (e.g., from KU, AU, etc.)
• In the final year of a bachelor’s degree or at the beginning of a master’s degree
• Curious and eager to expand your knowledge
• Customer-oriented, empathetic, and entrepreneurial
What do we offer?
At Implement Economics, we are a group of around 20 economists who work closely as a team to solve complex economic questions that help our clients make better choices. Joining us means you’ll be part of a relaxed, open, and supportive atmosphere.
Implement Economics is an integrated part of Implement Consulting Group – an unconventional consulting firm that strives to be the best place for the best people. We’re on a journey to bridge economics and management consulting skills to offer high-quality advisory to public organisations and private companies.
Make your next move matter.
We’re reviewing applications on an ongoing basis, so apply ASAP – and no later than 10 May 2026.
