Primary Responsibilities:
Responsible for monitoring operational and development systems, investigating and resolving system user issues reported with these systems with regard to the integration of security architecture & engineering efforts into the information technology life-cycle in an Infrastructure as Code (IaC) cloud-based environment.
Leveraging knowledge of the deployed IaC, ensures integrated security concepts, controls, and mechanisms deployed into the design and architecture phases to produce a reliably secure product.
May also assist with the deployment of patching of systems, the engineering, implementation, integration, maintenance and improvement of systems.
Additional responsibilities include technical Agile work tracking and planning, technical design, development and integration, verification and validation.
The environment requires monitoring multiple physical and cloud-based sites, and monitoring, supporting users and administering the IaC security, configuring necessary components and software utilizing IaC utilities.

Preferred Experience:
Infrastructure management: Set up and maintain infrastructure, including servers and cloud systems
Immutable Infrastructure & AMI Design: Expertise in designing AMIs using automated tools like HashiCorp Packer; specifically incorporating Citrix Virtual Delivery Agent (VDA) installation and optimization into the image build process.
Process automation: Create and maintain automated processes for testing, deployment, and security
Automated Image Pipelines: Experience integrating image builds into a CI/CD lifecycle (e.g., GitLab CI) to ensure AMIs are patched, hardened, and updated without manual intervention.
Configuration Management (Ansible): Experience developing and maintaining Ansible playbooks and roles to automate the configuration of secure, STIG-compliant operating systems.
Virtualization & Remote Display: Understanding of Citrix infrastructure components and the ability to troubleshoot VDA registration, session latency, and display protocol issues (ICA/HDX) on cloud-hosted instances.
Communication: Collaborate with development, operations, and other teams to ensure effective communication
Troubleshooting: Identify and fix issues in production, and monitor system performance
Product updates: Launch product updates, and create integrations to improve the user experience
Cybersecurity: Incorporate cybersecurity best practices as directed into processes
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Information Systems, Information Systems Management, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, other related discipline, or equivalent experience; Cyber Security and IaC certifications may be considered in lieu of a degree
2 years of general experience
Ability to work collaboratively and independently to develop creative solutions
Ability to work well and productively within a small team environment both in-person and remote telework
