About the Role:
We are looking for a Junior C# / .NET Developer to join our engineering team and support the development of reliable, high-performance applications for professional trading and financial technology systems. This role is ideal for an early-career engineer who is eager to build strong technical foundations in .NET development while working on mission-critical systems.

You will work closely with senior engineers, product managers, QA, and domain experts to deliver scalable, maintainable, and user-focused solutions across desktop and backend applications.
What you’ll do:

• Assist in the design, development, testing, and maintenance of GUI frontend applications
using C# and .NET.
• Support the development of professional frontend desktop and/or backend components for financial technology systems.
• Work with senior team members to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Develop and integrate APIs, real-time workflows, and supporting application services.
• Write clean, testable, and maintainable code following established engineering standards.
• Participate in debugging, troubleshooting, and performance tuning activities.
• Contribute to unit testing, automation efforts, and release processes.
• Take part in code reviews, team discussions, and knowledge-sharing sessions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software on schedule.
• Continuously learn and improve through mentorship and hands-on project work.

Requirements

 What you'll bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 1–5 years of professional software development experience, or strong internship/project experience in .NET development.
  • Foundation in C# / .NET and object-oriented programming.
  • Basic understanding of software engineering principles, including:
    -OOP
    -Data structures and algorithms
    -Debugging and testing
    -Version control using Git
  • Willingness to learn and grow in desktop and/or backend application development.
  • Strong problem-solving ability, attention to detail, and a collaborative mindset.
  • Good communication skills and eagerness to work in a team-oriented environment.
  • Language: English, Cantonese, Mandarin
Preferred Technical Experience:
  • Familiarity with C# / .NET application development.
  • Exposure to WPF, XAML, MVVM, or desktop UI development.
  • Basic knowledge of RESTful APIs and application integration.
  • Understanding of async/await, multithreading, or concurrency concepts is a plus.
  • Familiarity with UI testing, unit testing, or automation tools is an advantage.
  • Experience with DevExpress controls/components is a plus.
Nice to Have:
  • Internship, academic, or personal project experience related to financial systems or real-time applications.
  • Exposure to WebSocket, Docker, or AWS is an advantage.
  • Interest in capital markets, trading platforms, or financial technology.


Skills Required
