About the Role

In the role of Business Controller, you will serve as a strategic partner at the core of our financial steering and performance management. You will shape data‑driven decision-making by delivering high-quality, complex financial analyses and providing clear, forward-looking recommendations to senior leadership and operational units.

Acting as a trusted advisor, you will support and challenge our business lines to ensure alignment with corporate objectives, enabling them to achieve sustainable financial success. You will play a key role in leading complex projects and initiatives, driving transparency, accountability, and value creation across the organization.

Additionally, you will spearhead the optimization and stabilization of controlling processes, enhancing both efficiency and data integrity. You will take ownership of the planning and reporting cycles, transforming data into actionable insights that empower stakeholders at all levels. In particular, you will cover a significant part of the profit and loss month-end closing and you will contribute to the success of the controlling team by creating complex financial models.

Location

This role requires you to be based in Munich, ensuring smooth collaboration with your team in our very centrally located Munich office.

• A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Controlling or Business Administration with excellent grades.
• A minimum of 3-5 years of first professional experience in controlling, preferably in project and/or business controlling.
• You are a strong analytical thinker, coupled with a talent for numbers and data interpretation.
• Your Excel skills are at a very high level.
• You have a proven track record in transforming complex data into practical insights.
• Your approach to complex tasks is adaptable, dynamic, and proactive.
• Your work ethic is suited for a fast-paced, startup-like environment.
• You see challenges as opportunities for growth and value the chance to contribute.
• You're a team player who collaborates effectively across various business areas and stakeholders.
• You're able to communicate effectively in German and English
