JUNIOR ASSOCIATE - FINANCE (Taxation)
Job Description
- Prepare schedules and ensure timely uploads to the RAMIS portal.
- Prepare and assist in the filing of tax returns.
- Ensure the timely collection of supplier and customer tax invoices.
- Maintain accurate filing and archiving of all tax invoices to facilitate Internal Revenue Department (IRD) audits and internal reviews.
- Ensure proper 5S practices are followed in maintaining all tax-related documents.
- Manage the VAT refund process.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable direct and indirect tax regulations.
- Prepare tax computations and statutory reports.
- Monitor and communicate regulatory changes relating to tax processes.
- Handle Hayleys Advantis tax clearance processes for all overseas payments.
Qualifications
- Undergraduate or graduate in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Currently pursuing or part-qualified in CIMA, CA, ACCA, or an equivalent professional qualification.
- Minimum of 6 months' experience in a finance-related role. Exposure to taxation will be an added advantage.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint), with strong analytical and reporting skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and maintain a high level of accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of SAP will be a distinct advantage.
