Job Description

Kick-start your career in corporate services as a Junior Associate, where you'll gain hands-on exposure to company secretarial and compliance processes while working alongside experienced professionals in a supportive learning environment. This internship-level role is ideal for someone eager to build their knowledge of corporate administration, AML/KYC requirements, statutory compliance and governance practices. You'll play an important part in supporting the team with essential administrative and regulatory activities, ensuring records are accurate, documentation is well maintained and work is delivered to high-quality standards while developing valuable skills for a successful career in the industry.

What You Will Do

  • You'll conduct AML & KYC/CDD checks on new directors, shareholders, investors and investee companies, and carry out AML-CFT functions in accordance with Mauritius Laws and Regulations
  • You'll assist in preparing annual meetings, statutory documentation, board packs, and regulatory filings with the MRA, FSC, bankers and other stakeholders.
  • You'll manage corporate actions including changes to auditors, bank signatories, registered office and share issues by preparing resolutions, amendments and notification letters for Associate Manager approval
  • You'll maintain accurate records by scanning and filing all documentation on EazzyFiling, updating internal systems (5Series) and planning information (BiLLy), whilst flagging any client or service issues promptly
  • You'll ensure compliance with information security policies, protect IQ-EQ MU's information assets and maintain all company records in proper order across physical and digital filing systems.

Qualifications

About you:

  • You hold a degree or are partly qualified with ICSA or ACCA.
  • You have internship experience in an administrative or corporate environment.
  • You possess basic knowledge of corporate law, which would be advantageous to the role.
  • You are competent at the basic level with MS Office Word and Excel.
  • You are fluent in English and French

Skills Required
