Job Description

Launch your accounting career with IQ-EQ as a Junior Associate – Client Accounting, where you'll gain hands-on experience across a broad range of accounting, tax, and regulatory activities while learning from experienced professionals. This entry-level opportunity is ideal for an ambitious graduate or part-qualified accounting professional looking to build a strong technical foundation in a fast-paced and supportive environment. You'll play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records, supporting client deliverables, and developing practical expertise in accounting processes, compliance requirements, and financial reporting. 

What You Will Do  

  • You'll assist with daily bookkeeping activities, accounting records maintenance, and the preparation of periodic accounts and accounting files. 
  • You'll support accounting and tax processes by preparing data for tax computations, completing simple tax calculations, and assisting with tax return submissions.
  • You'll assist with transfer instructions, client queries, and other routine accounting activities, ensuring work is completed accurately and on time. 
  • You'll compile, update, complete, and upload regulatory surveys, forms, and financial statements through the relevant online platforms.
  • ​​​​​​​You'll maintain planning information, perform quality checks on financial statements, identify and escalate client issues, and ensure compliance with information security requirements. 

Qualifications

About You  

  • You hold a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or you’re partly qualified ACA or ACCA. 
  • You have a basic understanding of accounting principles and a keen interest in developing your technical accounting skills.
  • You're comfortable using Microsoft Word and Excel and be confident working with financial data and systems.
  • You're fluent in English and eager to learn, grow, and take on new challenges in a professional environment.
  • Knowledge of IFRS or other relevant accounting standards would be an advantage

Skills Required
