Junior AR Accountant

In the role as Junior AR Accountant you will contribute to our purpose of Bringing People Closer.

The Junior AR Accountant will support the Accounts Receivable team in managing the invoicing process, ensuring timely collection of payments, and maintaining accurate financial records. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented finance professional looking to develop their skills in AR accounting within a collaborative and supportive environment.

Your contribution is appreciated and you will:

• Assist in the preparation and generation of customer invoices and credit notes in accordance with company policies and deadlines.
• Maintain accurate records of customer transactions and account balances in the accounting system.
• Support the reconciliation of customer accounts, including investigating and resolving discrepancies.
• Collaborate with the finance team to perform month-end closing activities related to accounts receivable.
• Assist in the preparation of AR reports, including aging reports and cash flow forecasts and monitor and follow up on outstanding invoices to ensure timely payment and resolve any discrepancies with customers.
• Participate in the implementation of process improvements to enhance efficiency in the AR function.
• Provide effective customer service by addressing customer inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally.
• Support the AR Team Leader in various ad-hoc projects and tasks as required.

To fulfill the role, we imagine that you have:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Experience in accounts receivable or a related finance role, especially in a shared services or multinational environment.
• Familiarity with accounting principles and practices.
• Keen attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strategic problem-solving abilities.
• Team-oriented with a collaborative mindset.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Experience with accounting software knowledge of D365 or similar ERP systems.
• Fluency in English; additional language skills would be an asset.
