As Junior Analyst, Statutory Reporting and Compliance CoE (m/w/d) you are responsible for maintaining, organizing, and enhancing financial information processes and tools for statutory audit documentation and reporting and ensure accurate and consistent data for statutory audits, reporting, and compliance activities as part of the global statutory compliance program. A continuous improvement mindset is essential to identify opportunities to streamline workflows and enhance data quality. You will also actively support the statutory audit and financial reporting of a portfolio of LS&Co legal entities.

 

About the Job 

Data Management and Process Improvement

  • Manage data requests and submissions to statutory auditors and external vendors to ensure timely and accurate statutory reporting.

  • Maintain data integrity and ensure the accuracy of information used in statutory reports. Identify and resolve any data integrity issues impacting statutory returns.

  • Organize and maintain comprehensive records of financial audit documentation and reporting deliverables in accordance with company policies and regulatory standards.

  • Critically evaluate and enhance current audit and reporting management information processes and tools. Make appropriate use of digitization strategies and automation

  • Collaborate with team members to implement process enhancements, automation, and best practices for increased efficiency and data integrity.

Statutory Reporting Support

  • Support statutory audit management and reporting process for a portfolio of LS&Co entities including audit planning, scheduling, information deliverables and auditor requests, monitoring progress and escalations. Ensure the effective use of reporting information tools and responding to audit and reporting requests.

  • Support the finalization and review of financial statements, including integrity of audit disclosures and GAAP reconciliation

  • Maintain global audit planning and scheduling tools

Compliance & Governance

  • Support processes to ensure statutory reporting meets with all SOX, internal controls, and accounting and reporting requirements

  • Maintain high-quality and structured documentation and controls information for audit and regulatory reviews, including establishing and maintaining CoE knowledge bases

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Liaise with internal teams including Global Accounting and Cluster Finance through the statutory audit process to improve the quality of financial information and ensure accurate and timely financial reporting

  • Provide training and support to stakeholders on statutory reporting requirements and management information processes and tools

About You

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field

  • 3 years of experience in statutory reporting, financial compliance, or audit, ideally within multinational companies or Big 4.

  • Working knowledge of IFRS, and regulatory frameworks

  • Experience with SAP, S4/HANA, Excel. Experience with data tools including Blackline and Workiva is an advantage

  • Lean sigma skills (or similar process methodology) a plus

This is a hybrid position based in our Warsaw office. You will be expected to be in the office three days per week, though time in office may vary depending on business needs.

The expected starting salary range for this role is 121,600 - 162,000 pln per year. The amount an employee will earn within the salary range will be based on factors such as relevant education, qualifications, performance, and our needs. Salary ranges may vary by location and currency. Where roles are advertised across multiple locations, local ranges will apply.
