Junior AML Specialist

Job Description

As a Junior AML Specialist, you will join the Due Diligence team within the Legal Department to support the operation of our local and international business. We are seeking individuals who are passionate about analysing risk and taking the initiative, whilst working in a fast-paced environment. From your first day with the Company relevant training will be provided on all aspects of the role, including our verification, enhanced due diligence and internal structures and process whilst giving you the tools and knowledge to analyse risk.

The position is offered on a full-time basis during office hours Monday to Friday.

Main Responsibilities

• Responsible for adhering to Anti Money Laundering policies and procedures including making assessments on how, and when, to interact with customers including recording, and reviewing all contact made with operators.
• Operating the company’s due diligence procedure and processes
• Assisting with the completion of due diligence reports.
• Preparing and compiling information available internally and through open-source research for the purpose of completing due diligence reports.
• Identifying and escalating high-risk accounts at the earliest opportunity.
• Owning and maintaining a master list of all higher-risk customer profiles and recording actions taken for audit purposes
• Analysing customer documentation.
• Collaborating with colleagues from different teams with regards to status of due diligence process.
• Ensuring that all incoming queries are dealt with accurately and in a timely manner.
• Other administrative duties related to storing and uploading of the Group’s corporate documentation and contracts.

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail.
• Fluency in English, both written and verbal.
• Ability to analyse, sound judgement and strong organisational skills are essential in order to balance workloads and meet deadlines.
• Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
• Competent literacy and numeracy skills.
• Previous experience in a gaming fraud/AML/safer gambling roles is advantageous but not essential.
• Fluency in a second language (other than English) is preferable however not essential.
