- Role Purpose
- To assist in the preparation of group clients’ year-end adjustments, financial statements, and tax returns for all entity types. This role also provides essential bookkeeping and payroll overflow support.
- Key Responsibilities
- Financial & Tax Prep: Prepare EOFY adjustments, reviews, financial statements, and individual/entity tax returns.
- Bookkeeping & Payroll: Handle end-to-end and year-end bookkeeping, reconciliations, and occasional payroll processing.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the internal team. (Note: This is a back-office role with zero client communication and no BAS preparation).
Requirements
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of accounting/bookkeeping experience.
- Technical Skills: Strong foundations in bookkeeping and financial tax accounting.
- Location/Tax Background: AU/NZ tax accounting experience is preferred, but candidates with a Philippine tax accounting background looking to transition are highly encouraged to apply.
- Industry Exposure: Preferred experience with SMEs, but corporate entity experience is acceptable.
- Software: Experience with Xero or MYOB is highly preferred, but we are flexible and willing to train the right candidate on our systems.
Work Arrangement
- Work Setup: Flexible Work Arrangement
- Work Hours: Rotating roster, 8:30am AU start time, should complete nine (9) hours work
