- Data Entry: code and enter documents
- Liaise with client staff e.g. transaction enquiries; expense receipts etc.
- Enter and monitor monthly reoccurring General Ledger Journals
- Reconcile Accrual accounts
- Process monthly Statement Reconciliations
- GST returns preparation and filing
- Reconcile clients’ bank and credit card accounts
- Balance Sheet, Profit and Loss account reconciliations
- Reconciliation of Intercompany accounts
- Financial Statement reports and analysis
- Various accounting support tasks as required
- Maintain transparent communication with client managers regarding the progress with client's accounts
Requirements
- Candidate must possess Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy
- 1 to 2 years related work experience.
- Knowledge of basic accounting
- Professional certification such as CPA (Certified Public Accountant) is a plus.
- Experience working for a New Zealand or Australian accounting is an advantage.
- Experience in using Xero accounting software is nice to have.
- Must be attentive to details and a fast learner.
- Can easily adapt to new processes and technologies.
- With a good attitude, show initiative and drive.
- Ability to work independently and can collaborate with a team.
- Must have excellent communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel
Work Arrangement
- Work Setup: On-site
- Work Hours: Monday to Friday, 6:00 am to 8:00 am flexi start time, should complete nine (9) hours work
