Elevate Health SciencesWe are looking for a full-time Junior Accountant. This role is on-site in Provo, Utah.At Elevate Health Sciences we take pride in the continuous evolution of our business. We’re searching for an experienced Junior Accountant to support our team and reinforce our reputation as a leader in manufacturing nutraceutical products.Primary Purpose: Our Junior Accountant is responsible to provide accurate and timely support to the Finance team as needed.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Research and resolve collections issues.
Process customer payments.
Maintain appropriate and adequate customer records.
Correspond regularly with customers.
Reconcile accounts receivable.
Maintaining and updating customer files.
Assist with weekly ACH and Wire payments.
Verify new contractor documentation, process contractor inquiries and maintaining contractor file, process 1099’s.
Assist in month-end closing and the processing of balance sheets reconciliations.
Maintain accounting-related spreadsheets.
Assist with other accounting tasks and projects as needed.
Knowledge/Competencies/Skill Qualifications:
0-2 years of experience in accounting.
Degree in Accounting, or pursuing a degree in Accounting
Uncompromising integrity, discretion, and strong ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
Able to build rapport cross-functionally through effective communication.
Experience working with midsize ERP system.
Critical-thinking aptitude, able to identify and proactively resolve discrepancies/miscalculations.
Meticulous attention to detail
Intermediate level excel skills. ie. Vlookup, Xlookup, Pivot tables.
Must be able to read, write and communicate in English.
Ability to read, interpret and execute written instructions.
Must be authorized to work in the United States (verified through E-Verify)
Nice to have:
Cost accounting experience.
Experience in a manufacturing environment.
