Junior Accountant with English
Summary of the Role:
We invite candidates with diverse financial expertise to join our team in the Accounts Payable (Source to Pay) department. In this position, you will play a key role in processing invoices, engaging with vendors, and collaborating with the purchasing department, as well as preparing payment proposals.
In this role you’ll:
- Review Purchase Requests (PR) based on established criteria, and follow up on Purchase Orders (PO) and Goods Received (GR).
- Validate incoming invoices against relevant Purchase Requests (PR), Purchase Orders (PO), and Goods Received (GR).
- Input necessary data from invoices into purchasing systems in accordance with accounting policies and procedures.
- Facilitate payment processes and prepare payment proposals according to the corporate payment calendar.
- Provide support and guidance to colleagues and vendors to resolve queries or issues.
About the Ideal Candidate:
- A degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is preferred, but equivalent experience will also be considered.
- Some experience in accounts payable, accounting, or transactional purchasing is preferred.
- Good understanding of procurement, invoicing, and supplier information management processes.
- Prior experience with Coupa or any other purchasing tool would be an asset.
- Good knowledge of SAP (S4 Hana preferred).
- Very good English skills
