Digital Advisory
The Digital Advisory group develops and executes strategies for companies to unlock new revenue streams and enter markets across technology, media, content, and distribution.
The Role
As an Associate in the Digital Advisory group, you will support a senior-led Advisory team representing corporate clients across the technology, media, retail, social, and entertainment verticals. We oversee business development and strategic planning initiatives, integrating deeply into client teams to:
Identify new business and market opportunities
Design scalable business models and long-term growth frameworks
Establish clear strategic priorities, go-to-market direction, and execution roadmaps
Package creative partnerships with leading filmmakers, producers, creators, and thought leaders
Create content distribution opportunities across platforms
Structure deals and lead negotiations
Execute strategies in market
This role is responsible for maintaining operational rigor, ensuring that commitments, deliverables, and communications are constantly tracked, coordinated, and completed on schedule. Team members work closely with leadership and clients, take real ownership of active initiatives, and are expected to contribute directly to how work is structured and delivered.
Responsibilities
Support day-to-day coordination of client and department projects, including prioritizing action items, managing deliverables, tracking milestones, and driving necessary follow-up with internal executives.
Own organization and maintenance of department infrastructure (tracking grids, status documents, timelines, working files, etc.) to ensure accurate and up-to-date visibility into client and department initiatives
Draft and circulate meeting agendas, prepare materials, capture action items, and manage follow-up
Anticipate deliverables: proactively create internal deadlines, prepare materials, set reminders, and manage action items to keep projects on track.
Assist in creating decks, proposals, briefs, and market overviews
Assist in market research and analytical support to identify new business lines, markets, and growth opportunities
Interface with departments across CAA: (e.g., Film, TV, Brand Consulting, Business Affairs, Strategic Planning) to support inter-departmental coordination and execution of key strategic initiatives.
Qualifications
1–3 + years of relevant experience, ideally in an agency, consulting, media, or corporate growth environment.
Strong organizational, project-management, and follow-through skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities across different stakeholders.
A self-directed, detail-oriented working style with the ability to anticipate needs and take ownership of execution.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to produce clear agendas, recaps, decks, and client-ready materials.
Ability to effectively operate in fast-paced, growing and evolving environment and multi-task and prioritize workflows efficiently.
Ability to quickly adapt to shifting priorities and agendas.
Confident connector with the ability to build strong relationship with clients and key agency executives.
Interest in media, creators, digital platforms, emerging technology, traditional entertainment, and brands.
Technical skills needed: PowerPoint, Keynote, Excel, Word, Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides).
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred.
Location
This role will be located in our Los Angeles office.
Compensation
The annual base salary for this position is in the range of $70,500 to $80,000. This position also is eligible for benefits and discretionary bonus. Ultimately, the salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, business sector, and geographic location, among other criteria.
