Summary

Plug’s Sales Engineer is responsible for planning and managing the sales pipeline of services and spare parts solutions inside Frames’ Oil & Gas installed base. That includes all the interfaces with key stakeholders like customers, suppliers, and our company’s engineers.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for maintaining the customer database. Prospecting new opportunities related to Frames’ legacy (O&G) installed base. Promoting company’s products with customers. Contacting customers, collecting their needs, and translating them into project requirements.
  • Elaborating value proposition to our clients and understanding their pains and goals. Preparing and following-up on commercial proposals. This involves all interfaces with customer, Headquarters’ legacy product teams, and Brazilian services team.
  • Acting as main contact person for customers and suppliers during the sales phase.
  • Proactively gathering sales and supply information to be used for proposal strategy. Collecting detailed project information.
  • Receiving and reviewing customer’s contracts and negotiating terms and conditions with our customers. Signing contracts with customers.
  • Transferring signed contracts to Frames’ Operations Team according to applicable work instruction.
  • Developing knowledge and skills to be able to address current and future project and market demands. Ensuring that all relevant information is stored and up-to-date in Frames’ customer relationship management software.
  • Participate in tasks to improve your department.
  • Reporting sales pipeline for high management.
  • Participating on tasks and planning for development Brazilian sales department.
  • Representing the company appropriately.

Required skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, mechanical or electrical engineering.
  • Ability to speak and write English at a professional level.
  • Basic knowledge of MS Office Package (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • At least 1-year of sales experience.
