Responsibilities
- Perform project management activities to plan, monitor, and control the design, development, testing, and implementation of a Defense Health Agency product. Advise the Sr. Project Controller and DHA Project Officer on day-to-day activities as well as key decision points.
- Conduct project planning, develop project documentation, define and manage project resources, and provide project support.
- Determine meeting attendees, identify and reserve meeting locations, and send and update meeting invitations. Prepare and distribute agendas, meeting minutes, and other meeting materials.
- Facilitate project action items, schedules, and product reviews.
- Facilitate resolution of issues that a pertinent to the success of the project, ensuring that corrective actions are in place to prevent or address project non-conformances.
- Monitor and evaluate contract deliverables for operational effectiveness, functionality, cost, efficiency, benefits, and contract compliance.
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree plus 6 years of Defense Health Agency (DHA)/Solutions Delivery Division (SDD) combined with PMO experience.
- Knowledge of the PMBOK® process inputs, tools and techniques, outputs preferred.
- Excellent organizational and both oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to work well with a team, execute tasks and projects in a timely and accurate manner.
- Ability to write and present effective project materials, presentations, status-reporting, etc.
Preferred / Special Skills:
- PMP preferred, but not required
- Monitor and evaluate contract deliverables for operational effectiveness, functionality, cost, efficiency, benefits, and contract compliance.
- Other duties as assigned.
Basic Compensation: $80,000 - $87,000 annually
The salary offered within this range will be based on the selected candidates' skills, experience, education, market data, and internal parity. DLH may offer other rewards that may include performance incentives and program-specific awards. An applicant’s salary history will not be used to determine compensation.
